LMS-63E is studied for the realization of systems that drawn advantage from the potentialities of the mobile telephony and internet. Through SMS it would be possible to activate from remote the LMS-63E relays outputs or read the analog and digital inputs. The module is programmable through LAN by means of a simple web browser. The LMS-63E incorporate a GSM telecommunication device module (Siemens MC55) and, through the rice-transmission of text messages, it would be possible to realize innovative systems like:
- Domotics – Using the relays outputs it would be possible to realize simple and economic domotic systems to remotely drive (on/off) household-electric or electronic devices.
- Industrial automation – Using the LMS-63E with a power section in order to control machines and productive systems, remotely reading operation parameters avoiding or limiting the human presence.
- Emergency and surveillance – For the realization of alarms systems able to sending SMS (with customizable text) and/or alarms in case of one or more events.
- Innovation of traditional products – Many traditional products can be innovated adding SMS module (automatic drink's distributors etc.).
- Remote reading systems – The possibility to remotely read data receiving the information via SMS is a further use of the module. Placed in far or low-access sites, LMS-63E can carry out the monitoring of environmental values (e.g. the control of the water levels), monitor hostile atmosphere (in presence of toxic elements, chemical agents, radiation) or for the control of industrial machines.
