The A12-1090 is a Low Noise Amplifier designed to improve the reception of the S/ADS mode B beacons sent out by the commercial aircraft at 1090 MHz. It can be conveniently used with Kinetic Avionic SBS-1 Virtual Radar where an external antenna is used with a long run coax cable to improve the Noise Figure of the overall system.
It is provided with a waterproof ABS case suitable for 44 mm max diameter mast and a Bias Tee (Optional BT12) to insert a 12 V DC power supply to feed the amplifier through the coax cable. Supplied complete of all the needed accessories for an easy installation on the mast
